With patch Tuesday, fast approaching we thought it would be
a good idea to give you an insight into what to expect from the new update and
ways to troubleshoot errors with the update process.
The new update is set to bring a range of new and exciting
features to windows 10. For example, in the new update it is bringing 4k HD
gaming (compatible Devices only!) it is also introducing a new 3D app this is
said to be like the Paint program but allows 3D modelling ect like adobe
Photoshop. Microsoft are also introducing a VR platform for use with VR
equipment (See Microsoft website for more info).
But it would not be patch Tuesday without the occasional
hiccup! But fear not the friendly team at OX365 are here to assist you! There
are some things that you can try however before you bring your machine to us!
- 1. If the update does not work or hangs during the install do not switch off your system as it may be working and switching it off can cause damage to the system.
- 2. If the update installed but you notice a decline in system performance you can remove the update manually ask us if you are unsure.
The update has been released early to the development
community however this is accessible to all using the windows 10 upgrade tool,
the official release date for this update is 11/04/2017 so this will be rolled
out to systems on the above date!
