In this blog, I will be explaining some simple tasks to help enable you to maintain your computer system! Let’s first start off by increasing security, there are many ways to increase security for example using an anti-virus product and ensuring that the virus definitions database is always up to date! Another way to increase system security is to keep windows up to date and install windows security updates, this can be done using windows update located in settings / control panel. Now let’s move on to improving system performance this can be improved using some built in windows tools it can also be done using some 3^rd party software. For example, using Malware bytes to remove malware threats will improve system performance and it will also help to increase system security. You can also use disk defragmenter and disk clean up to help improve performance these tools are supplied by Microsoft and can be found in control panel. Disk defragmenter takes all the fragmented files and puts them together in one location on the hard drive. Disk clean up removes files such as temporary internet files it will also empty the recycle bin to help create hard drive space.
